more info:
FutureHoop Shuffle uses dynamic Modes that shuffle continuously, each with a consistent theme. The vibrant color palettes and drawing modes are randomly generated so each dance with your FutureHoop is both familiar and refreshing.
Changing to the next Mode is as easy as turning the hoop off and then on again. The modes use a color-coded blink at startup so you know which mode you’re in. No tiny switches, no elaborate menus, just pick up your FutureHoop and begin to flow
6 Special Modes:
- Motif (blinks pink) – Inspired by traditional art motifs with a splash of 8-bit iconography. Multi-layers of colors display dimensional patterns in bold colors with a random chance for a hypnotic chaser layer over the pattern.
- Spiral (blinks green) – Waveforms displayed over the swooping playspace of your hoop create mind bending visuals with high-speed points of light.
- Iso (blinks purple) – Color shifting chasers appear to freeze and hover as you perform isolations or spinning tosses. The chaser layer and background layer breathe in and out while swapping colors and speeds.
- Galaxy (blinks white) – This meditative rippling rainbow stasis mode gives your eyes a rest and allows for more flow focused dancing. The gentle color shifting rainbow uses low power and is great for chill spaces and conserving power while walking around.
- Pop (blinks blue) – Bold, geometric blocks of strobing colors create the illusion of multiple hoops being spun.
- Pixie (blinks aqua) – A single fast-moving, color-shifting chaser.

3/4″ HDPE and 5/8″ Lilac Polypro are temporarily out of stock.
Tubing Material Info
Our standard LED hoops are typically made with 3/4" HDPE tubing, which offers excellent durability and flexibility. At the moment, 3/4" HDPE is temporarily out of stock, but 3/4" Polypro is still available in all colors. If you're looking for HDPE, our 5/8" HDPE option is still available and shipping as usual.
Polypro is lighter and stiffer than HDPE, offering a snappier feel and quicker response. While its rigid structure gives it a different kind of feedback during flow, polypro is more prone to cracking if bent too far, used for more fast-paced or aggressive hooping style, or if the tubing swiftly impacts a hard surface. This is especially true in colder temperatures, particularly with LED hoops due to the added weight of electronic components.
That said, many hoopers still enjoy polypro LED hoops for their crisp responsiveness and lightweight handling. Our current polypro options include clear and translucent colors: Lilac (purple), Blush (pink), Dew (green), and Aqua (blue).
Will the tubing color affect the lights? When the hoop is in mid to high speed motion the tubing color difference is almost indistinguishable. When the hoop is moving slower you can see that the tubing is different and may notice a slight tint.
The color difference will be the most notable when the hoop is on an all white setting.

5/8 Tubing Size
5/8″ hoops are light, bouncy, and fun, but it’s good to think about what kind of hooping style you’d like to use with the hoop when choosing both the thickness and material of the tubing. 3/4″ hoops are made with thicker tubing that is slightly heavier, but also sturdier, and considerably less flexible than 5/8″ hoop tubing. If you like to hoop with a faster or more aggressive hooping style, the thicker 3/4″ tubing may be the best option to keep up with faster paced flow.
Fast breaks and reversals in 5/8 can cause the shape of the hoop to become warped, or the tubing can become over extended and kink. If also in polypro, the tubing is more prone to cracking from the stress. Kinked and cracked tubing is not covered by the warranty, so take extra care when selecting your hoop tubing options.
Hoop Grip
The FutureHoop Shuffle comes with bare tubing, but can be lightly sanded or have a layer of hoop wax added along the inner ring of the hoop for extra grip. Moodhoops Hoop Wax is a lightweight, removable and transparent alternative to sanding or taping your hoop. Hoop wax is clear and doesn’t transfer to your clothes or skin.
Extra hoop wax can be reapplied to keep up the grip. Add-on extra Hoop Wax so you can add more grip and reapply! Rub vigorously along the inner ring of your hoop to create a textured surface. Please make sure you want to keep the hoop before sanding the tubing.
