Please read the Battery Safety Guide for important instructions.
Lithium-ion batteries are no joke. Each li-ion battery has three times the power of a regular battery. Only use one battery in your hoop at a time.
Batteries come with a protective plastic case that should be used at all times when storing and transporting batteries.
Keep batteries out of extreme temperatures. All battery use and battery charging should be done with adult supervision.
Battery Charge Time
Charging Instructions:
Read the Battery Safety and Care Guide for important instructions and information on how to use your hoop battery and charger. All battery use and battery charging should be done with adult supervision.
Continual Battery Runtime:
One removable 10440 li-ion battery can last 1-3 hours in your hoop, depending on which color/style/mode/hoop model it is.
Recharge time:
2-4 hours to completely recharge.
Power Saving Tips:
For PixelHoops or FutureHoops you can switch to less power-hungry modes or patterns. Use the remote control to turn down the brightness as another way to increase battery life. FutureHoop patterns that use more black space than color are using less LEDs on at the same time, which saves power. Simple, minimal patterns (like spirals and chasers) can last for many hours on one battery charge.
How often should I charge my battery?
It’s best to keep your batteries charged in between hooping sessions. Lithium-ion batteries are okay to be stored at a little below full charge, especially if they will be sitting unused for while.
It’s best to never leave lithium-ion batteries at zero or low charge for extended periods. This will cause the battery to lose capacity over time. Rechargeable batteries are consumable and they will need to be replaced over time a normal part of wear and tear from the hoop. It’s best to keep your battery in good shape to extend the glow time it can give back to you! 🙂
