Power-saving Tips
The FutureHoop was designed with power-saving in mind so you can keep hooping with full and bright animations hours into the night. Use the remote control to switch to less power-hungry modes or patterns. Turn down the brightness with the remote control as another way to increase battery life. Patterns that use more black space than color are using less LEDs on at the same time, which saves power. Simple, minimal patterns (like chasers) can last for many hours on one battery charge.

Removable Battery Hoops
Swap out to a new battery to stay glowing! The removable battery design lets you run full color visuals all night long. One removable battery can last 1-4 hours in your FutureHoop, depending on which mode it is on.
Each FutureHoop comes with 4 batteries and a charger, but only 1 battery should be used at a time.
5/8 hoops use the smaller 10440 li-ion battery (AAA-sized), so they have a slightly smaller capacity than the 14500 li-ion battery (AA-sized) used in hoops with 3/4 tubing.
Hoop Battery Sizes for 5/8 and 3/4 Tubing
Which Size Battery Fits Your FutureHoop?
FutureHoops are built in 3/4 and 5/8 tubing
5/8 LED hoops use a 10440 lithium-ion battery (similar to AAA size)
3/4 LED hoops use a 14500 lithium-ion battery (similar to AA size)
How does a FutureHoop with an Internal Battery Recharge?
Depending on the mode you’re in, an internal battery FutureHoop can last 2-5 hours before it would need to be plugged in to charge. FutureHoops hoops charge via micro USB cord and come with a USB wall charger.
The hoop needs 4-6 hours plugged in to recharge the internal batteries back to full capacity. Keep your hoop batteries charged in between hooping sessions.
The red light on inside the hoop when plugged in is how you know the hoop is charging. When the hoop is fully charged the light inside the hoop will turn off. Unplug your hoop when it’s completed charging.
The USB wall charger that comes with your hoop has a light on it to let you know that it’s receiving power from the outlet. This isn’t an indicator of whether the hoop charging, only that it’s receiving power. Any powered USB port or USB charger will power the hoop when it’s plugged in.
You can use any micro USB cord and any USB charger to charge your hoop’s internal batteries. If your USB cord no longer works it’s best to dispose of it and purchase a new one or to use a different micro USB cord that you use for another USB device.
