Patterns are grouped into modes for easy navigation. At the start of each mode, the hoop will begin a 6-second autoplay of the patterns in that mode. Use the color 7-key remote control to navigate modes and settings.

• Classic - Scroll through multiple classic styles of popular color combinations.
• Rainbow - Modulate the speed of the rainbow morph effect using the Speed button. Turn up the speed so the rainbow appears white when still, but in motion unlocks the full spectrum. Slow the speed down for a more chill vibe.
• Aura - Elemental color schemes play with color gradients and complementary pairings. Fire, water, sunset, desert, earth, pastels, and other thematic combinations.
• Halo - Solo colors can easily adapt to their surroundings or enhance flow-focused routines. Use the Speed button to stop the color cycle and fine tune to your favorite solid colors.
• Chasers - Wispy chasers bend the light and use minimal power. Great as a beacon for your friends to find you while keeping the battery usage low.

Tubing Details:

• Select 3/4 or 5/8 tubing in either HDPE or Polypro
• 5/8 hoop size options: 24.5" OD to 33.5"

• HDPE tubing (more durable material, milky-white diffused)
• Polypro tubing (stiffer with a bounce, but more prone to cracking)
• Looking for the sturdiest LED hoop option? 3/4 HDPE is the best!
• Hoop opens up so it can be collapsed for transport using the hoop coiling extension piece included with your hoop

5/8" hoops are light, bouncy, and fun, but it’s good to think about what kind of hooping style you’ll be using with your LED hoop when choosing both the thickness and material of the tubing. 3/4" hoops are made with thicker tubing that is slightly heavier, but also sturdier, and considerably less flexible than 5/8" hoop tubing.

If you like to hoop with a faster or more aggressive hooping style, the thicker 3/4" tubing may be the best option to keep up with faster paced style.

Fast breaks, wedgies, jumping through your hoop, and reversals in 5/8 can cause the shape of the hoop to become warped, or the tubing can become over extended and kink.

If a 5/8 hoop is also made in polypro, the tubing has a higher chance to crack from stress, or even what feels like regular moves, especially in cold weather. Both 3/4 and 5/8 polypro tubing are more susceptible to cracking in cold weather, but it is more likely with 5/8 tubing due to its flexibility.

Kinked and cracked tubing is not covered by the warranty, so take extra care when selecting your hoop tubing options.

Hoopers around the world love a 5/8 polypro hoop, but it does come with extra risks and a need for special care to avoid cracking the tubing. (more details below)

Polypro tubing is known for being lighter and stiffer than HDPE, giving it a crisp, snappy feel and faster response time. This responsiveness makes it a favorite among many hoopers, especially for quick, technical flow.

However, the rigid structure of polypro tubing makes it more prone to cracking—particularly during aggressive hooping, sudden impacts with hard surfaces, and especially when used in colder temperatures. These considerations are important to keep in mind with LED hoops, as the added weight of internal components can increase stress on the tubing.

Despite these facts, polypro tubing remains a popular choice for its lightness and agility. We currently offer polypro tubing in clear and translucent color options: Lilac (purple), Blush (pink), Dew (green), and Aqua (blue).

Will the tubing color affect the lights?
In motion—especially at medium to high speeds—differences in tubing color become nearly invisible. When the hoop is moving more slowly, you can see that the tubing is different and may notice a slight tint.

The color difference will be the most notable when the hoop is on an all white setting.

The PixelHoop comes with bare tubing, but can be lightly sanded or have a layer of hoop wax added along the inner ring of the hoop for extra grip.

Sanding and hoop wax is clear and doesn't block the signal from the remote control.

If adding grip tape onto your hoop, it’s best not to use too much with the PixelHoop, as grip tape (whether in black or white) can block the signal from the remote control to the hoop.

Please make sure you want to keep the hoop before sanding the tubing. Hoop Wax can be applied then removed, but sanding permanently scuffs the tubing.
