My main props include a hoop & my body. As mentioned earlier, I began hooping in July of 2014, about two years ago. Moreover, in part of my movement, I focus on interconnection (relation of hoop-body contact). I began belly dancing in April of 2015, roughly about a year ago. These elements have guided myself and the journey I’ve taken into what I call “a meditative movement,” which has ultimately increased me as a human being & has open countless amount of doors for me.
I admire hooping in places spacious & outdoors although when it comes to practicing, I will happily hoop anywhere
My journey began roughly around two years ago, I picked up hooping in around late July of 2014. I was inspired to start by someone who I admire dearly, my very own sister, Selina.
In terms of the community, I am ever so grateful to be apart of something so grand. The amount of support I witness, given & taken freely to one another is truly breathtaking. The community itself has turned over countless amounts of opportunities for me. It was a matter of opening myself up to the subject and taking those extra steps to seize new opportunities (which in many cases I have). As of now, I’ve already seem to have noticed a significant impact made by the flow community; empowering each other, creating influence in the most positive aspects, backing one another like support systems constructed of good will & compassion. My heart holds truly, gratitude & more hope for the community in the future. We are growing, blossoming as one; being a part of the community makes it feel effortless this way.
