Can I set a favorites playlist manually from the hoop while playing with it?

While there isn’t a direct way jump to a folder of favorites, there’s still a couple of ways for you to make a folder like this easy to access. One thing you could do is to create a new folder/mode of Favorites and name it so that it’s the top folder on the hoop drive. Since the hoop drive reads the folders/modes alphanumerically, you can rename the folder to be “01 Favorites”. Putting this folder first, or as one of the first few modes, will make locating it using the remote easier to do by memory. 🙂

You can tell the hoop to always boot up into the same folder by editing the StartupFolder option in the global Options.txt file on your hoop.
