Capturing a hooper in their natural hooping habitat can be a very exciting moment in time. The pure joy is magnetic, and pulls in all types, from photographers, to on-lookers, to others who share the passion of hooping and flow arts.
This image from the Burning Man festival in 2010, in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada, speaks such beautiful poetry about hooping. Ahni Radvanyi poses for photographer Tristan Savatier in this magnificent photograph.
Side note from blogger: Ahni Radvanyi has been an amazing influence in my life, as she was the crafter of the very first hula hoop I owned! And the rest is hooping history. 🙂 I will never forget the beautiful times shared performing with this amazing hooper. <3
