Battery shipping regulations

Due to recent changes made by the US Post Office, there are limitations on the quantity and deliverable locations for the lithium-ion batteries used with MoodHoops. Each battery now has an additional $0.99 shipping charge added.

We are no longer able to send lithium-ion batteries through the US Post Office to any international locations, including all APO addresses and Canada. All Canadian and International orders will now be shipped with either UPS or FedEx. Customs and duties fees through these new carriers may be charged by the carrier upon delivery. We are working on other solutions, as well as working directly with the US Post Office, as there is word of this regulations being altered or repealed.

We are no longer able to ship hoops affordably through the US Post Office to APO addresses. If you would like to send a hoop to an APO address, please contact us through our International Order Form and we’ll get back to you with a shipping quote.

Customers outside of the US please note that we are not responsible for any duties, taxes, or levies that your country may impose on your shipment, as this is handled within the country of receipt. We have absolutely no control or jurisdiction over your government’s duty/tax assessment or whether a duty/tax is assessed at all (for many shipments a duty/tax is not charged). We are required by US and international laws to list all purchases as merchandise at full cost and so, per the law, we cannot state on customs forms that purchases are gifts or change the purchase amount.

If large quantities of batteries are ordered, batteries will ship separately and will arrive at different or later time than your hoop package.
